Folding@Home, or f@h, is a program designed to help scientist to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases. This is program is perfect for those who leave their computer running all the time...		  
     
  How to Get Started
First, you will need a Username. Click here to see if the username you would like to use is available. If, for example, "johndoe" is not available, try "john_doe" or "JohnDoe" or even "John_Doe".

Downloading f@h
Second, you will need to download and install the folding@home program. Choose the version of Windows, Mac OS X or Linux (and even PlayStation3) you use:

Third, after your installation is complete, you can enter your User Name and enter in our Team Number (147183).

Speeding up f@h
Forth, f@h is automatically set to run at low speeds to allow you to use your computer like you did before you installed the program. But if your computer can handle more, you can simply change the settings to fold more projects called "Work Units" (WU).
